10月16日[水]から東銀座のCO-CO PHOTO SALONにて、写真家 ジョバンニ・ピリアルヴさんの写真展を開催いたします。本展では時間と夜をテーマに、移り変わりゆく景色を写した作品を展示販売いたします。ジョバンニさんが旅をしながら出会った多くの美しい夜をぜひ会場にてご覧いただけますと幸いです。
場所よりも、時間が重視される。夜、その多彩な色合いと移り変わりの瞬間は、毎晩、黄昏から夜明けまでの唯一無二の旅を提供します。地理的なルートに従わず、一日の終わりから次の日の始まりへと移り変わる時間の中を歩みます。太陽と共に生きる私たちが普段気づかない瞬間を見つける旅です。日が沈むと、空は暖かい色に染まり、やがて夜が訪れます。深い闇が広がり、遠くの星々が輝く夜の旅の終わりに、新しい一日が訪れる夜明けが待っています。この展示では、地理的な距離を超え、想像の中で一夜を過ごし、その多様な顔を発見します。 / Giovanni Piliarvu
When the World Slows Down
More than just a place, it’s time that takes center stage. The night, with its myriad hues and fleeting moments of transition, offers a unique journey each evening, from dusk till dawn. This journey doesn’t follow a geographical route; instead, it traverses the hours that mark the end of one day and the beginning of the next. It’s a journey through moments often unnoticed by those living by the sun.
As the sun sets, the sky is painted with warm tones, and gradually, night descends, deep and rich in contrast, with distant stars shining brightly. At the end of this journey, dawn brings forth a new day. In this exhibition, we transcend geographical distances, experiencing an imagined night and discovering its many hidden faces. / Giovanni Piliarvu
Quando il mondo rallenta
Il tempo piu che il luogo. La notte, con le sue sfumature e i suoi momenti di transizione, offre ogni giorno un viaggio unico dal crepuscolo all’alba. Non seguiremo una rotta geografica, ma attraverseremo le ore che segnano la fine di un giorno e l’inizio del successivo, in momenti spesso ignoti a chi si muove con il sole.
Il cielo si tinge di tonalita calde alla fine del giorno, e pian piano la notte scende, profonda e ricca di contrasti, con stelle che brillano lontane. Alla fine del viaggio, l’alba porta con se un nuovo giorno. In questa mostra, attraversiamo la notte ignorando le distanze geografiche, vivendo una notte immaginaria e scoprendo alcune delle sue molteplici sfumature. / Giovanni Piliarvu

■作家在廊日 決定次第お知らせいたします。
1978年生まれ。イタリアのサルデーニャ島サッサリ市出身。カメラ店を経営していた叔父のおかげで初めてカメラを弄った。母親に借りたミノルタ製一眼レフを使い、いつも家にあったロールフィルムで若い頃から写真を撮っていた。サルデーニャ島を出てから写真を一時休憩。来日してから数年、デジタルカメラの世界に入る。風景や、祭り、ポートレート、散策中など、その中の空気に浮かんでいる気持ちを写真で掴むことが好き。瞬間のエモーションを写真にすることが目標。
